Linking your Aadhaar to your mobile number is mandatory as per the Government of India. Once your number is linked, you can avail services offered by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) or even retrieve a lost Aadhaar card.

Here is How to Link Mobile Number with Aadhaar:

1. Book an appointment online (optional) or visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre.
2. Fill in the Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Form and mention your mobile number.
3. Submit the duly filled form and complete biometric authentication.
4. Pay the applicable UIDAI fee, if required.
5. Receive an Acknowledgement Slip with the Update Request Number (URN).
6. Track the status of your Aadhaar update using the URN or by calling the UIDAI toll-free number 1947.

Users who have changed their existing mobile number can fill out the Aadhaar Correction Form at the enrolment/update centre to update their mobile number.
