This feature, Vi Protect, builds on Vi's existing robust consumer protection measures including:

  1. SPAM SMS flagging - Vi's SMS SPAM filtering system detects and flags suspicious SMSs as 'Suspected SPAM'. This feature works natively within Vi network ensuring accuracy and enhanced privacy

  2. SPAM Call Flagging - Vi's AI-based Voice Spam Detection system flags fraudulent and spam calls in real time using advanced AI models, web crawlers and user feedback, it identifies suspicious callers before they reach the customer

  3. International Calling Display - A first of its kind measure in the industry, International Calling Display makes it easier for customers to easily recognize genuine international calls and make informed decisions

  4. CNAP- Calling Name Presentation (CNAP) is a service that displays the caller’s name along with the number on your phone when you receive a call.

  5. Malicious link detection- Vi’s malicious link detection solution ensures that when you click on a link on your mobile handset, the domain is instantly assessed in real-time for potential threats using Vi’s AI solution and is blocked in case it is found suspicious
