How do I pay my Insurance premium on Vi website?

1. Click the pay icon in the bottom navigation bar on the Vi website home page.
2. Tap on Insurance under the utilities section
3. Select your Insurance service provider from the list of the available options
4. Enter the unique customer account number of your service provider
5. The premium amount would be automatically fetched.
6. Click on proceed to pay to complete the payment
7. You will get a confirmation when the payment is collected successfully

What payment methods can I use to make my insurance premium payment?

You can make your insurance premium payment using UPI and Card payment options on the Vi app. Cards as a payment option will be available for all transactions where the bill amount would be minimum Rs200

Does Vi charge any additional fees for insurance premium payment?

Vi will charge convenience fees (inclusive of GST) which is a nominal amount for Card payments to cover the transaction cost. Convenience fees would be ZERO for UPI payments.

Why am I unable to fetch my insurance premium?

Your Insurance premium would get automatically fetched on the Vi app once enter your customer account number. You might not be able to fetch your bill if your insurance service provider has not yet uploaded the bill online. Kindly connect with your insurance service provider's customer care via their mobile application or website if you are unable to fetch the bill.

Where can I check the status of the payment?

The payment status would reflect on the thank you page once the payment is completed. You can also check the payment status in the transaction history tab under the manage payments section.

Why is my insurance premium payment pending?

You will get an instant successful payment confirmation for your insurance premium payment on Vi website.

In rare cases, the payment would be in pending state due to delayed status confirmation from your bank/ insurance service provider. In such a scenario, you are advised to wait for 4-6 hrs post which you can check the payment status in transaction history under manage payment section

In case of the payment failure the refund of the transaction amount will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days

Can I cancel my bill payment?

Once the bill payment is successful, you will not be able to cancel the payment.

Why is my premium payment not reflecting even after successful payment?

You can check the status of the payment in the transaction history tab under the manage payments section.

If the bill payment is not updated even after the status is successful, you can raise an issue with your insurance service provider via the Vi website by clicking on the payment transaction in the transaction history tab under manage payments or directly reach out to your service provider
In case of the payment failure the refund of the transaction amount will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days

How do I get an invoice for my insurance premium payment?

You can download the receipt of the bill payment on the thank you page, which includes the bill payment details, and BBPS Transaction ID. To get an invoice for your insurance bill payment, log in to your insurance service provider’s mobile application or website to contact their support team.

When will I receive the refund in my account in case of failures?

In case of payment or technical failures, the refund of the transaction amount (including convenience fees if any) will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days once we receive the failure confirmation from your insurance service provider / bank.

How do I raise any issue for insurance premium payment via the Vi website?

1. Go to the manage payments section and tap on transaction history
2. Search for the relevant insurance payment transaction and click on raise an issue
3. Select the issue from the drop down and click on submit
4. You can track the status of the issue in the issue history tab under manage payments

Note: The issue should be raised within 48 hrs (i.e 2 days) from the transaction date.
