How do I recharge a FASTag on Vi website?

1. Click the pay icon in the bottom navigation bar on the Vi website home page
2. Tap on Fastag under the utilities section
3. Select your FASTag issuing bank from the list of the available options
4. Enter your vehicle registration number, the other details of FASTag issuer
5. Enter the amount and select your preferred mode of payment
6. Click on proceed to pay to complete the payment
7. You will get a confirmation when the payment is collected successfully.

What payment methods can I use to recharge my FASTag?

You can recharge your FASTag using UPI and Card payment options on the Vi website. Cards as a payment option will be available for all transactions where the bill amount would be minimum Rs200

Does Vi charge any additional charges for FASTag recharge?

Vi will charge convenience fees (inclusive of GST) which is a nominal amount for Card payments to cover the transaction cost. Convenience fees would be ZERO for UPI payments

How do I locate the issuing bank on my FASTag?

The name of the bank that issued your FASTag will be displayed on the left side corner of the blue strip of your FASTag.

What if I see vehicles details not found error?

You may see this error while recharging your FASTag on Vi website due to one of the below reasons
• Your FASTag wallet is not yet activated by your issuing bank
• You have selected the wrong FASTag issuing bank
• Usually, new vehicles are generally registered with a chassis number instead of the vehicle registration number. You could try entering your vehicle’s chassis number in the Enter vehicle registration numbers field
If the issue persists, connect with your issuing bank for further support.

Can I cancel my FASTag recharge & get the refund?

Once the FASTag recharge is successful, you cannot cancel the recharge.

Where can I check the status of payment?

The payment status would reflect on the thank you page once the payment is completed. You can also check the payment status in the transaction history tab under the manage payments section.

What if my FASTag recharge payment is pending in Vi website?

You will get an instant successful payment confirmation for your FASTag recharge on Vi website.
In rare cases, the payment would be in pending state due to delayed status confirmation from your FASTag issuing bank. In such a scenario, you are advised to wait for 4-6 hrs post which you can check the payment status in transaction history under manage payments section. In case of the payment failure the refund of the transaction amount will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days

Why is my FASTag account balance not updated after a successful payment?

You can check the status of the payment in the transaction history tab under the manage payments section.
If the FASTag recharge is not updated even after the status is successful, you can raise an issue with your issuing bank via the Vi website by clicking on the payment transaction in the transaction history tab under manage payments or directly reach out to your issuing bank.
In case of the payment failure the refund of the transaction amount will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days

Can I close my FASTag through Vi website?

No, you cannot close your FASTag through Vi website. Please get in touch with your issuing bank for closure of FASTag and refund of the security deposit that you had paid at the time of tag issuance

Are there any FASTag recharge limits on Vi website?

Yes, there are limits on the recharge amount per payment and limits on the number of times you can recharge your FASTag in one day and in one month.
The recharge limits are as follows:
Per transaction recharge limit: You can recharge your FASTag upto a maximum of Rs. 12,000 per payment
Daily Recharge Limit: You can recharge your FASTag upto a maximum of 10 times in one day
Monthly Recharge Limit: You can recharge your FASTag upto a maximum of 25 times in one month

How do I get an invoice for my FASTag recharge?

You can download the receipt of the FASTag recharge on the thank you page, which includes the payment details, and BBPS Transaction ID .To get an invoice for your FASTag recharge, log in to your issuing bank’s mobile application or website and connect with their customer support team.

When will I receive the refund in my account in case of failures?

In case of payment or technical failures, the refund of the transaction amount (including convenience fees if any) will be credited in your bank account / card within 7-10 working days once we receive the failure confirmation from your FASTag issuing bank.

How do I raise an issue for FASTag recharge in Vi website?

1. Go to the manage payments section and tap on transaction history
2. Search for the relevant FASTag recharge transaction and click on raise an issue
3. Select the issue from the drop down and click on submit
4. You can track the status of the issue in the issue history tab under manage payments
Note: The issue should be raised within 48 hrs (i.e 2 days) from the transaction date.
