The Vi-HMD Super Saver Offer is a bundled offer between Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) and HMD India. Under this offer, new Vi prepaid customers purchasing eligible HMD 2G feature phones can recharge at a discounted price of ₹140 instead of the regular open market price of ₹199.

This provides monthly savings of ₹59 on every recharge for 12 months, leading to total savings of approximately ₹800 in a year. This means the cost of the HMD 2G feature phone is effectively recovered through recharge savings over 12 months.

The offer is applicable on the purchase of HMD 100, HMD 101 or Nokia 105 Classic 2G feature phones on or after 24th December 2025.

Customers have to follow the below steps to avail the offer:

  • Purchase an eligible HMD 2G feature phone (HMD 100 / HMD 101 / Nokia 105 Classic)
  • Activate a new Vi prepaid SIM.
  • Complete a mandatory first recharge of ₹140 (no other denomination) within 30 days of SIM activation

Important: At the time of the first eligible recharge, the Vi SIM must be inserted and active in the eligible HMD 2G handset and latched onto the Vi network.

Any customer who purchases an eligible HMD 2G feature phone and activates a new Vi prepaid SIM with the mandatory first recharge of ₹140 is eligible for this offer.

The offer benefits are valid for 12 months from the date of onboarding, subject to continued compliance with offer conditions.

No. If the handset is purchased before the offer launch date, customer will not be eligible the “Vi-HMD Super Saver Offer”.

Under the Vi-HMD Super Saver Offer, the customer gets benefits equivalent to the ₹199 plan by recharging ₹140, resulting in a saving of ₹59 per recharge. Considering the customer does a minimum of 14 recharges in a year, the total annual savings is approximately ₹800.

The offer is applicable only on select HMD 2G feature phones:

  • HMD 100
  • HMD 101
  • Nokia 105 Classic

Yes. The offer is available on eligible HMD 2G handset purchased from both offline and online/e-commerce stores in India during the offer period.

Handsets purchased outside India are not eligible. Only Indian variants of HMD 100, HMD 101 & Nokia 105 Classic qualify.

The offer is valid from 14th January 2026 to 30th June 2026.

Customers will receive the discounted recharge benefit for 12 months, provided the Vi SIM continues to be used in the eligible HMD 2G handset.

A customer can recharge with ₹140 up to three times within a 30-day period.

A maximum of 36 eligible ₹140 recharges are allowed during the 12-month offer period.

Yes. The customer may recharge with any plan after onboarding. However, the Super Saver benefits will apply only when the customer recharges with ₹140 while using an eligible HMD handset.

If the first recharge is not ₹140, the customer will not be onboarded under the Vi-HMD Super Saver Offer. In such cases, subsequent ₹140 recharge attempts under this offer will not be successful.

Yes. The benefits will continue if the replaced handset is a new HMD 100 or HMD 101 and its TAC is part of the Vi-approved whitelist.

Yes. The remaining validity and benefits will continue on a replacement SIM issued on the same mobile number, when used with an eligible handset.

No. The benefit is applicable only on the ₹140 recharge. Recharging with any other MRP will be treated as a regular open-market recharge without additional benefits.

No. Each eligible HMD 2G handset can be linked to only one Vi prepaid connection under this offer.

No. The Vi-HMD Super Saver Offer is applicable only to new Vi prepaid customers. Existing Vi prepaid customers are not eligible.

If the SIM is not active in an eligible HMD 2G handset at the time of recharge, customers will receive only the regular recharge benefits (₹140: Unlimited Calls for 15 days).

To enjoy full benefits (Unlimited Calls + 2GB Data + 300 SMS for 28 days), the SIM must remain in the eligible HMD 2G handset.

Customers can recharge with ₹140 upto three times in 30days under this offer. Multiple ₹140 recharges are allowed, and benefits will be applied sequentially as per the validity of each recharge.

Also, If customer does ₹140 recharge for the fourth time in 30days window perido, the additional benefit will not be credit and only open benefit will be passed i.e., UL Calls for 15days.

No. The offer is device-locked. ₹140 Recharge benefits will stop if the SIM is moved to a non-eligible handset.

The offer is valid only on eligible HMD feature phones and not on smartphones or other feature phones.

Since the offer is device-linked, benefits will stop. To continue, customers must purchase a new eligible HMD 2G handset and recharge again.

Yes. The Vi SIM can be used in any SIM slot. However, it is recommended to use SIM Slot 1 and avoid frequent SIM slot changes.

Yes, as long as the SIM remains in the eligible HMD 2G handset and the other slot is not occupied by another Vi number.

If the SIM is moved to a non-eligible handset, mobile services (Incoming & Outgoing Calls, Data & SMS) of ongoing recharge of ₹140 will be temporarily stopped/barred after 24 hours. Customers will receive prior SMS notifications before barring.

The scheduled barring will be cancelled, and customers will continue to enjoy the remaining benefits.

Barring is scheduled 24 hours after the Vi prepaid SIM active on ₹140 recharge plan is detected/latched in a non-eligible handset. 

Customers must either:

  • Insert the Vi SIM back into an eligible HMD 2G handset, or
  • Recharge with any open-market unlimited plan on a non-eligible handset

Customers must recharge with any open-market unlimited plan to exit the program. Remaining validity will be carried forward to the new recharge.

Customers must do an open-market unlimited recharge to exit the program. Services will resume immediately, and remaining validity will not be lost.

No. The offer is available only on new HMD 100, HMD 101 & Nokia 105 Classic phones.

Yes. HMD phones are SIM-agnostic and any telecom operator sim can be used; however, bundled benefits apply only on Vi prepaid connections fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

HMD 100, HMD 101 or Nokia 105 Classic offers durable build quality, long battery life, and reliable voice calling. Prices are as per manufacturer-defined MRPs.

No. The ₹140 recharge benefit is device-linked and valid only on eligible HMD 2G feature phones.
