With Vi Prepaid Family, eligible Vi prepaid customers across India can create a family group, add their loved ones, and enjoy benefits such as data sharing, recharge discounts, and exclusive offers, subject to eligibility and applicable terms and conditions. It is a convenient way to manage your family’s prepaid connections in one place.
Getting started is simple! Open the Vi App and tap the Family tab on the home page dashboard. Select ‘Create Family’, choose a contact or enter an eligible Vi prepaid number manually, and complete OTP verification to add the member. The person who creates the group becomes the primary member, while those added become secondary members. You can have up to four members, including yourself, in one family group.
Need to help a family member who is running low on data? With Vi Prepaid Family, eligible members can share 500 MB of available data at a time through the Vi App. Data sharing is permitted once a day, up to twice a week, and four times in a calendar month. The transferred data remains valid until 11:59 PM on the same day, and eligible members can share data across states and telecom circles in India.
