Vodafone Idea - Together for Tomorrow

Vodafone Idea stand hand in hand to create a new beginning. It is a global culmination of the unification of two major telecom giants. With one of the largest telecom mergers worldwide, Vodafone Idea has stepped into an innovative age of digitization. The two brands are determined to continue to enhance the digital experience of India on its strong 4G network.

With a new logo and a fresh identity, Vodafone Idea has rebranded itself as Vi™. As of 7th September, 2020, Vodafone Idea virtually launched itself as “Vi™”, and it is read as “we”. Although Vi™ is a shortened form of Vodafone Idea, it has larger implications. The brand name signifies that it isn’t about just one entity, within itself, it encompasses the entire Indian society spread across the urban milieu to the rural populace, hence read as “we”. Vi™ is a dependable and customer-centric brand that is committed to providing its users with a better today and a brighter tomorrow.

The Vi™ logo isn’t just two letters that signify the universal merger of two major telecom brands, it holds within itself the legacy of Vodafone Idea while bringing something unique with it, that reflects altering consumer needs and evolving societies. The design of the logo has an inverted “I” with a bold mustard dot, meant to surprise and delight people. The logo represents a collective fellow-feeling that Indians share with each other, it represents a collaboration of communities, regions, businesses, etc.
