Mobile users receive tons of unwanted telemarketing calls and text messages even when they have not opted for such calls. Vi has the perfect solution for all Vi customers who do not wish to receive promotional calls and SMS from Registered Telemarketers. The Vi Do Not Disturb (DND) service allows customers to register for full or partial blocking of all telemarketing calls/texts. With the Vi Full DND service, completely stop such commercial communication or set your preferences with partial DND.

Customers can activate or deactivate DND services at no added costs using any of the following modes:

 

●  DND Activation Online:

1. Visit the Vi DND registration page and enter your Vi mobile number
2. Click on Get OTP and verify the OTP sent to your number
3. Based on your preferences, click on Full DND or Partial DND

 

●  DND Activation Offline by SMS:

1. Open the text messaging App on your phone and compose a new message
2. In the message body type FULLY<space>BLOCK 
3. Send SMS to 1909 to activate DND 

 

●  Calling Vi DND Number:

Vi has a dedicated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system on the number 1909 (toll free). To activate DND call on 1909 and follow the IVR prompts.

 

●  Via the Vi App:

1. Login to your Vi App and click on My Account option from App Homepage
2. Click on the DND option from under More Services
3. Select your preferences and activate DND

 

●  Via TRAI DND App

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) has a dedicated App for DND activation. You can download the app to set DND preferences.
