Vi SIM card activation procedure
When you buy a new SIM card, it needs to be activated before you can make any calls or send an SMS. Once you receive your new SIM card, the SIM activation is done within a few hours without any activation charges. SIM activation for new SIM cards( first time use) is done in-store by our executives or at the time of SIM home delivery by our delivery agent.
However, SIM cards for existing numbers or a replacement SIM card in case of SIM damaged/lost, can be activated via call or SMS. To activate your prepaid SIM:

- Insert the Vi Sim into the slot
- Complete a one-step authentication by calling 59059 (in India)
- Authenticate with OTP
- Provide your identification details and done..
- Your Prepaid Vi SIM is ready to use!
