Initiate your eSIM request via Vi app
Login to the Vi app
Navigate to Help > Raise a service request > Activate eSIM
Select device and Enter EID
Select if you want to activate on the same device or another device
Enter the 32-digit EID number for the device you wish to activate eSIM on
Refer FAQs for finding the EID number
** Ensure EID entered is correct as a wrong EID will lead to failure of profile activation
Verify the OTP on your registered phone number.
Enter the OTP received to proceed with the request.
Download eSIM profile
Post successful request creation you can download eSIM profile after 15 mins via
a. Notification received on device
b. Scanning the QR code received on your registered email address
After switching from a physical SIM to an eSIM, activate the new eSIM profile, remove the physical SIM and restart your device
Update & Verify Your Email ID
Ensure your registered email is active and valid
Activation QR will be sent to this email
Enter Your EID
Locate your 32-digit EID from device settings
** Ensure EID entered is correct as a wrong EID will lead to failure of profile activation
Verify Your Identity
OTP sent to your Vi number for secure verification
Confirm via Automated Call
Answer the call from Vi and follow IVR prompts
Send the following SMS from your Vi number:
eSIM_EID_Device Type_Email ID (Use 1 for iOS, 2 for Android)
Example:
eSIM 89049032000001012345678912345678 1 myemail@example.com
Then, confirm by replying:
eSIM Y to 199
You'll receive:
Activation QR Code via email & SMS
An IVR call for final verification

Tap on “Create a Passcode” to create a 4 digits passcode on your Apple Watch.
Tap “Setup Mobile Data” to share your Postpaid number and plan with Apple Watch

Enter your Vi postpaid number and self-care password. (Note - If not registered then tap on register to login to register your phone number)
Tap Confirm once login is successful
Please wait at least 15 minutes while your Vi post paid number and plan gets shared with Apple Watch.
