Business Challenge
• R. S. Yarns & Power wanted two-way connectivity to remotely monitor and manage wind turbines • Since many of the wind turbines were in remote locations, connecting to them was a challenge
Our Solution
• We set up our Managed IoT Connectivity Platform for R. S. Yarns, with a dedicated static IP for each deployed IoT SIM. Our MPLS cloud was used to connect each wind turbine location with R. S. Yarn’s central server • We also provided an alternative dedicated private APN to enable end-to-end communication between the IoT SIMs and their central server • Vi 2G-powered connectivity was enabled in remote wind turbine locations
