Business Challenge
• The board wanted to efficiently produce, transmit and distribute electricity with reduced pilferage • They needed assistance to capture and transfer energy consumption data • Their electricity metres operated on Circuit Switched Data (CSD). They needed to fetch data from remote locations across the state and upload it on to their central server securely, in order to pull the data for automated bill generation
Our Solution
• Vi Business engineered a novel system that integrated the use of our IoT SIM Connectivity solution with secure meters to capture the energy consumption data • We placed Controlled Switching Device (CSD) operated meters all over the state with our IoT SIM Connectivity solution in them, to pull data, even from distant division offices. This was then captured from the server for billing purposes
